Guiding Agile Transformations. Empowering Teams. Navigating AI with Agility.
With many years of experience in Agile, Data Science, AI, and Business Intelligence, I specialize in helping organizations navigate fast-changing environments. My focus is on empowering teams to embrace agility, make smarter data-driven decisions, and integrate new technologies for real, measurable impact.
I kicked off my career as a Y2K Analyst at a major investment bank in New York before diving into the world of internet startups, gaining diverse experience in financial services and technology ever since. Early on, I embraced Agile methodologies, recognizing their potential to drive efficiency and adaptability in fast-paced environments, a mindset that has shaped my approach throughout my professional journey.
In 2010, I was a founding member of the Data Science team at a global financial services firm, where I led initiatives like a fraud detection algorithm that identified password sharing, driving significant revenue growth in its first year. This solidified my passion for combining data science and business strategy to drive meaningful outcomes. Metrics have always been at the heart of my work, helping teams make informed, real-time decisions.
In today’s evolving landscape, I guide organizations in integrating AI to enhance efficiency and spark innovation. Combining Agile with AI, I help teams achieve sustainable growth and foster a culture of learning and adaptability.
I’ve earned a few certifications along the way, but my approach goes beyond cookie-cutter frameworks, drawing from a range of methodologies to help teams adopt Agile practices in ways that work best for them.
I hold an M.S. in Financial Planning from Golden Gate University and a B.S. in International Business & Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
Outside of work, I’ve recently volunteered as a North Carolina Guardian Ad Litem, advocating for kids in court who’ve been removed from their homes due to neglect or abuse.
When I lived in New York, my dogs and I volunteered with The Good Dog Foundation, bringing animal-assisted therapy to kids in an inpatient psychiatric facility in Brooklyn.
I lived in New York City until 2012 and then moved to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where I now reside with my family and a small menagerie of animals. We enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring the local beaches, and embracing the peaceful coastal lifestyle.
